Today’s the beginning of a new chapter of my life. I’m done with my studies and I’ll be joining the work force. Aside from it, I’ve decided that I will be a serious blogger though I’ve been blogging for years now (inconsistent posts and several blog sites).
By the way, I’m Mik, I hated to be called Mitch because its too common. Also, I rarely encounter people with the same pet name that gives me a feeling that my name is unique somehow . I’m a graduate of AB Mass Communication and I’m honored to be a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
I’m a proud Filipino but I welcome the global diversity. I’m loyal to my country. In fact, I’ll stop (even alone) in a mall or elsewhere whenever I hear the national anthem. However, when it comes to technology or other material things I preferred using foreign products. This is not because of the colonial mentality but because I trusted the product. I also disregard the idea of buying solely imported goods. As long as the quaIity is good I get it. As a matter of fact I own a Filipino made cellphone. Also, I never buy used clothes or what we call here ukay-ukay or segunda mano. My mom is not an advocate of it and that keeps on sinking to me.
Now I’m done introducing myself, let me introduce to you my blog. This blog uses a conversational English like that you read on a magazine. It has a wide-range of topic that focuses on the personality development of a person from physical, emotional and financial stability. It also discusses the interpersonal relationship of a person toward others and its team members. It will also include life lessons, some of my personal experiences and some articles, tests or links that I think will help the readers grow. Since I had my trainings in writing news story, column, editorial and critical writing these may be included in this blog.
I hope that this blog will be a venue for development communication so everyone of us will be aware of the things that’s happening around us so we can be more socially responsible.
Thank you so much for your time. Good day and God Bless!
